   The Native American Advocacy Project

     Students will meet on Monday, September 10, at 11am in BH 2213 and they are going to work on a documentary on the history, culture, and conditions of the Quapaw people of northeast Oklahoma (contact is:    


The Haiti Project

      Students will meet on Monday, September 10, at 3pm, in BH 2239.  This project involves building awareness about Haiti, hosting a Haiti Week in spring, working toward some students studying abroad in the Haiti Today program, and a service project involving Haitian education (contact is: .         


  Interfaith Symposium

      Students will host an Interfaith Symposium (forum, not debate) of religious experts in various religious faiths and may put together their own presentations on aspects of different religions with the service component involving the NWA Food Bank.  They have not yet scheduled the first meeting.
