Paper
In selecting a topic for your paper, select one
of the topics below. If you would prefer to
research an alternative topic, you must have your
topic cleared with your instructor before beginning
your research. In conducting your research
you should use as many of the following: Directory,
Search Engine, Subject Guide (if availble), specialized
databases, FTP sites, email disucssion group archives,
usenet newsgroup archives, any other Internet-based
resource The more variety in resources used,
the better.

Part I The Report Itself
Identify all of the major issues you will be addressing
in your research paper and address them as appropriate.
This paper should be typed according to the usual
conventions, narrative in format, and at least
5 pages in length and no longer than 10 pages.
You must use a minimum of 10 sources. [Note:
Please use 1" margins and a font size of 10 or
12. No "Readers' Digest Large print editions,
please.]
Part II Documentation of Steps Taken
in Researching Topic
In essence, this is a paper about how you conducted
your research for the paper. Identify the
steps you took in analyzing your research strategy
and document each of those steps according to
the following outline. You may add to this
outline as needed to adequately document the actual
work you performed in researching your topic.
This part should be a minimum of 5 pages in length.
The is no maximum limit Please try not to
de-forest the landscape.
1. Identify the important concepts
and keywords for your research. Also note
their synonyms.
2. For each resource you
used, provide the following information:

A paragraph which evaluates the resources found:
is the source credible? is the information current?

A paragraph or more if needed detailing any modified
Keyword searches performed and what if any advanced
searching techniques you used.
Also please note any Library Catalogs searched
online.
Part III Bibliography
Gather all of your citations in a bibliography following
the form of citation requested by your instructor.

Prepare your paper using Microsoft Word. [Note:
You may use another word processing program so
long as you can save your file as a
Rich Text
Format (.rtf) file, which
can be opened by any word processing program.]
Turn in your work by attaching it to an email
and emailing it to apeace@nwacc.net You
will receive a confirmation email once it is received..
