Regular and prompt attendance is expected of all students enrolled at NorthWest Arkansas Community College and is necessary in maintaining acceptable grades. In the event of absence because of illness or emergency, students are responsible for making up any work missed due to the absence.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT TO OBTAIN ANY CLASS ASSIGNMENTS THAT WERE MISSED AS A RESULT OF HIS/HER ABSENCE.

No make-up for classes missed will be permitted without the approval of the instructor. This make-up work must be completed with the time frame designated by the instructor. Agencies granting financial assistance will be notified of all absences of those students receiving financial aid. The policy of each agency regarding payment when a student is absent will apply in each case.
