Cells: Due 3-12-2006

For these labs, you will need to use one Word document with your name in the file name as well as listed on each page of the document. Add each lab for Cells as you complete it and email the completed file to your instructor via Web CT. Results from any online quizzes need to be copied and pasted into the Word document. You will also need to print and save all of your documents, including what you send to your instructor, from each lab for inclusion in your lab notebook.

Your Assignments:

* Find labeled pictures of the following types of cells: 

  • Prokaryotic
  • Eukaryotic
  • Labeled animal
  • Plant

Print these pictures with titles for your lab notebook.

* Complete the following activity:

Go to Cells Alive. Click on "Cell Biology" on the navigation bar on the left, and access "How Big Is a..." Use the tutorial to complete this worksheet, which you will copy and paste into a Word document for your instructor. Remember to print a copy for your lab notebook. Copy and paste anything else that will aid you in documenting your work.
