About Us

Welcome to the new iteration of VISIONS: A Journal of the Arts.  VISIONS started as The Artist and Writers Journal back in 1997.  Its first issue contained scanned-in art ranging from watercolors to black and white photography as well as poetry and fiction by students at NWACC.  (Please enjoy the back issues archived at our site for a chance to see what we publish.)

Throughout the last ten years, we have expanded away from being just a student production.  We are now in the process of accepting submissions from writers and artists outside the school.  (Please see the submission guidelines for how to send us your work.) 

We are also going electronic and will no longer have a print version of our journal.  This is an exciting step for us as it will allow for a greater ranger of material to be published as well as retain higher quality for the art work.
