Stephanie Lewis was born in St. Louis, Missouri.  She attended Southeast Missouri State University, where she received degrees in Art (BA) and Psychology (BS).  She received her MFA in painting from the University of Arkansas in 1998.  She currently teaches Art History I, History of Photography and Graphic Design, Art History II DL-WWW, Introduction to Painting, and Advanced Painting at NWACC.  She will also be Interim Program Coordinator for the Graphic Design department during the spring semester of 2008 while Victor Chalfant is on sabbatical.
