|   DEGREE PROGRAM   |

Northwest Arkansas Community College offers an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Graphic Design.

This program was established in 1994, and our first graduating class was in 1997. Since then, the program has grown to be very well respected in the area.

Students are required to complete 63 hours of course work for this degree.

Graphic design is a mixture of creativity and technical expertise. Students in this field learn to develop material from concept to finished design. While artistic creativity is important to a good designer, it is far from the only requirement. A designer must pay close attention to details and must be proficient with the latest tools and techniques for creating such work.
